Zoé opens the Centro Integral de Títeres of Tolosa.

Many media noted the success of the spectacle Zoé at the festival. Among these Diario Vasco reported in their article as follows: “Emotions, tears included, were the invited stars yesterday  at the society presentation of Topic,

the Centro Integral del Tìtere of Tolosa, which will be officially opening today at seven p.m. with the spectacle ‘Zoe´of Joan Baixas and the exhibition of puppets from Mali.”
It took more then twenty years of travelling from one office to the other, looking for funds and convinced that it would be possible the create such an unique place. Therefore there were many words of thanks to public and private institutions which together have made it possible, and, above all, to the persons who, with Miguel Arreche and Idoya Otegui at the forefront, never gave up their joint effort at the Centro de Iniciativas Turisticas of Tolosa (CIT). But, above all, there was emotion in seeing that the dream had finally become reality. And reality is a beautiful building, right in the center of Tolosa, with 3.600 m2 on five floors. Formerly a prison and now receiving visitors with an auditorium for 250 people, fitted with the latest equipment. Puppets, theatre, film and coventions will find their place here.“
